David Robert Jones of Brixton has posted his new long player to me and very fine indeed it is. Not a duff track to be found amongst it.
Plenty of press reviews and articles around that already deem it worthy of praise.
Still plenty of life in the old goat and plenty that many of these new fangled beat groups can learn from.
And as The Guardian reviewer says:
"...listening to a new album by most of his peers makes you wish they'd stick to playing the greatest hits."
I've only heard fragments but I like what I've heard so far.

Is The Dame a Wire fan? I hope so!
    Yes he is:

    Bowie's diary page at reported:

'Journal for Tuesday, May 16th 2000. All was groovy last night at Irving Plaza. Page Hamilton, Coco and I went over at around 10pm to catch one of my fave old bands, Wire. They were in pretty tremendous form, joined by one of the Janes at the end sonic onslaught. Foolishly missed Panasonic, who were opening but did catch the Hepcat Jim (foetus) DJ-ing. Jim is in great shape and spinning like a mad thing.'
