Pitchfork is currently selling tickets to see Wire as a part of their music festival in July. Per their site Wire is in Chicago on Friday July 19th.
There's a US tour planned for July (including the Pitchfork festival). I had seen the dates on songkick, and i see that they are now also on the pink flag start page.
Just saw the list. What a stroke of luck, they're coming here to Detroit. (I understand it's their first time here in 25 years.) Now I don't have to drive 4 hours to see them.
Definitely going to the Cleveland, Philadelphia and Washington DC shows
Fingers crossed they'll add some West Coast dates...
I'd be over the moon if the band decide came back to Atlanta again.
I see there is a free date before the NYC show in July. It would be great if they could fit in a NY: (mini) Drill event.
Just scored tickets to Detroit (home) and Cleveland. Anyone else going to either of these? Wouldn't mind hanging out for a beer with someone who actually knows the music.
Detroit would be a fun road trip.... Dave?
I last saw Wire in D.C. for the RBT tour and spent an hour with Mr. Lewis while he was packing up (using KREV as my intro). Missed the Object 47 tour due to surgery. Before that, in NYC for the Send tour, and before that, blah, blah, blah. Looking forward to the CBU tour in D.C. again in a very big way. Yay!
