The Wir/Hafler Trio collaboration 12" on Touch - "The First Last Number/The Last Last Number" featured these anagram puzzles on the back cover.....did anyone solve them?

1 ACCREDITED FRIVOLITY HAVING JOKED TAKER (8,2,9,2,3,3,8)
2 ADAPTIVELY CORONARIES FORESEES PROGRAM (9,4,1,4,4,8,5)
3 ALIENATION PSYCHOSIS FONDLES PUPPETS (8,2,6,7,2,8)
4 ANTITHESIS OVERTHROWN BUSHFIRE DEHYDRATE (2,3,5,3,3,5,3,6,8)
5 ABATEMENTS HYPOTHETIC LODGER REFILL (9,2,3,6,4,8)
6 BOTHERSOME RESTORER ORCHID THRIFT (5,4,4,5,5,7)

I read somewhere that these were anagrams with the numbers representing the length of the words in the solutions. The person who wrote it claims the first line is "Recorded in Reykjavik at the GOD Facility."

A classic bit of Andrew McKenzie nonsense.

I wondered whether it was worth the trouble - apparently not. Love the record though - shame it isn't digitally available.

I'm necroing this, as far as my search engine can see, this is the only place on the internet where this mystery has been discussed, and it still hasn't been solved.

If the first line is anything to go by, this should be credits, I suppose?

Gilbert, Lewis and Newman are 7, 5 and 6 letters, so they don't seem to be mentioned. Also, there is no W (for Wir, Written by or designer Wozencroft) …

But if it's credits, I have a suggestion for line 5:
….ed by The Hafler Trio …

ATEMNS PTCOGEILL are the letters that are left over for the first and the last word. No X, so it's not "remixed by the hafler trio" … anyone got any ideas?

One thing I have spotted - I found the original write up on wireviews that solved the first anagram.

It mentions there is a typo in one of the others but I have noticed there is a typo on Number 1

The anagram actually spells out Facilitv instead of Facility - there are 2 v's and one y instead of the other way around

Since the first one is "recorded..." the others presumably refer to engineering, production, writing and such. In that case another possibility for 5 is that it starts with the word "copyright". But that uses an R making it impossible to get "hafler trio" from what remains.
