DAISY BELL - Year Without A Summer
    with gamelan ensemble Gending

"A blasting musical performance inspired by the biggest volcanic eruption of recorded history"

Daisy Bell's composition Year Without A Summer successfully premiered on 28 March at theater NWE Vorst, Tilburg. The day after it was performed at Gaudeamus Muziekdag #3 at RASA, Utrecht.

    Check www.darkness.nu for upcoming performances.

"I had a dream, which was not all a dream. The bright sun was extinguish'd, and the stars did wander darkling in the eternal space"

Lyrically guided by the poem Darkness by Lord Byron and additional poetry by William Blake, Year Without A Summer is a collection of 8 songs that combine Daisy Bell's avantgarde pop with the ancient bronze of the Javanese gamelan. Additional video projection and light design complete the experience.

Graham appears as a talking head in this three minute trailer for Daisy Bell's "Year Without a Summer" project. Interesting stuff by the looks of it.
