As you probably have seen there will be a mini-UK tour in 2015. Two dates in February have been announced on facebook and on this site (Leicester and Wakefield). Tckets are on sale . I hope more dates for later are announced soon. A London date would be nice.

Bound to be a London date - isn't there always. Wakefield however...it's a spit away from where I live, and it's the day after I leave the UK for a short break in Budapest. Bugger! Hope Leeds is on the prospective agenda.

    How frustrating.
Wakefield is my local also and I am on holiday.
I need the band to coordinate with Mrs P to avoid such future disappointments.
It is a fine venue, small, good acoustics as long as the audience are quiet. Unfortunately a noisy audience seem to become amplified..

Still hope for a London date, but from what i understand there won't be any gigs in February apart from these two, so having called the discussion "UK Tour" was slightly optimistic in the end and it's more like "Two UK dates" for the moment. But i guess a proper tour will follow soon, a couple of months later.

Crikey! How many of you are going on holiday?!!
Anyway, I'm definitely not going on holiday for ages and I live near Exeter. Hint, hint..

Maybe no more dates this year? These 2 dates are the warm ups for the BBC6Music festival in Tyneside. Wire on the schedule for Sunday 22nd Feb.
Coincidentally brother in law over from China in Feb and is huge Wire fan from the early days. Think the last time he saw them was Reading 1990....Manscape, 3 piece era. Off to the Wakefield gig with him.

We'll know soon i guess. When the dates were announced on Wire's facebook page the post also said "There will be plenty more announcements in 2015 but for now that's all we can say".
  8.
We already know they have over an album's worth of material in the can so a release sometime in 2015 feels pretty likely. I'm sure a tour will follow.
