    Off topic!! I have always been very fond of the two Ruts / Ruts DC albums (the Crack and Animal Now). They are gracing Australian shores in a few months (although their isn't a full lineup- more an original rhythm section methinks).

    I suspect a few old Wire-ey s might have enjoyed their music. Any feedback on whether the show is any good?

    p.s. I know its a bit of a "nostalgia show" unlike Wire who are anything but: still I am intrigued.

    I've seen them a few times in recent years with varying line ups. Each time they've put on a really good show. Most recently was last year as a 3 piece and that was the best of the bunch. Dave Ruffy and Segs have still got it. The guitarist did a fine job. The setlist was a mixture of The Crack and Animal Now + (I think), In A Rut, Staring at The Rude Boys and West One. They went down a storm. There were a couple of new songs in the set too. One of my favourite gigs of last year.
