stevethehouse, glad to hear you enjoyed it so much, though not surprised. same setlist each night? same vibe in the audience for each performance?..........quite right about margaret, thought she added a lot to their sound..........
  2.
Same setlist both nights, though the DC version of Pink Flag seemed longer and more intense. The crowd was really enthused during the Philly show and kind of dead during the DC show.

as others have mentioned, the Boston show was an unmitigated success. great show, great energy, great setlist. Margaret was totally in sync w/ the band, great addition. haven't seen her since the 1st US tour of Moonshake.

anyway, i shot the show for Prefixmag.com and you can see the shots here:

Great photos as always Tim! Glad to see that the Wire live experience has been captured by you!
  6.
does anyone have the setlist for the Philadelphia show? There was one song I didn't recognize (not Underwater...)

    thanks!

It was probably "He Knows", which has yet to be officially released.

You are correct, I found a youtube version. What a great tune. He used a different guitar in Philadelphia for the song, absolutely beautiful.

I didn't like the tune much when they played it in 2000, but it seems to fit much better with the current Wire aesthetic. It has definitely grown on me. Reminds me a bit of "A Mutual Friend"
