Hi there.. link to photos in the word 'played' above. Turned out well despite the fact that the band were mostly lit from behind... I just don't understand why venues do this. Rob unlit. As the venue tended to adopt a bells-and-whistles approach to the lighting, you just have to be patient and try and judge the moment to press the shutter, i.e, not when a lamp will sweep directly towards you, creating horrible light flare.

I did think the PA was quite overdriven for the small size of the venue. By the time Harpooned was played it felt a bit overwhelming, like every inch of space was being rammed with sound, and not in a good way. Quite claustrophobic.

Ahead was a great opener though. And it was great to hear Three Girl Rhumba.
