Does the lack of price or option to pre-order mean that it's already sold out or does a person have to wait until it's actually on sale? Seems odd not to have a price handy.

To clarify - we've had some last minute production problems (relatively minor and nothing to do with the audio) which have delayed the shipment from Germany - we didn't want to take pre-orders until all has been resolved, which we hope will be the case in the next couple of days.

It is not sold out, and I'm sure everyone on this forum who'd like to buy a copy, will get one. The price is not 100% fixed yet because we haven't had the final reckoning from the printers, but is likely to be £33.

I'll post an update as soon as we have it in our hands, but it's likely that the quickest way of getting a copy will be online via the TouchShop and sent out in early December. I'm hoping it will be worth the wait.
Thanks very much for the clarification.

Shipments leaving Germany tomorrow and early next week. Books will be sent out as soon after Dec 11th as possible...
Has anyone heard the Wire song on this compilation yet?
My copy was shipped Tuesday - it hasn't arrived yet - fingers crossed it'll be tomorrow. I would guess the title gives a clue as to how long the track is ( 1 minute 10?????)
Just got the book this morning and I've just heard "A Year A Second". The info about it in the book reads....."Wire recorded'A Year A Second' at Rockfield, Monmouth, Wales, Spring 2016, during the Silver/Lead session - the time-based element is a dedication to Bruce Gilbert".

The track is 70 seconds long - so it's easy to work out what the track was meant for LOL.

It sounds like a very noisy track ending - quite beautiful in its harshness - the sort of track you'd hear more often in Bruce's catalogue than Wire's IMHO. Very nice - it cheered me up whilst suffering from this bleedin' lurgy. The book itself is quite stupendous!
Looks like the track is online, too.

I just had three versions of this going, having started at different times. Sounded pretty good!
Must be a UK-only thing because the link goes to Kudos' home page and no search turns up the song.
Not sure Doc, I'm UK-based and managed to turn nothing up...well, no Wire material anyway.
Weird. It was there yesterday. (It's in Google's cache.) The whole album could be streamed.
Yep - the lilnk was there but it's taken down - the link in the google cache shows the visual page but the sound link doesn't work. One other thing re that page - it credits quite a few tracks to AER. This is incorrect. Only "Just Before Dawn" (Track 3) is AER - the rest are uncredited in the book as they are tracks by Touch/Jon Wozencroft.
The track and album are back up at Kudos, but there's no sound. Quite the tease.
